Join Gemma to assemble a versatile whisk brush, ideal for sweeping crumbs, wood shavings, or food. Using natural tī kōuka fibres, you’ll start by learning a European twining technique to create strong, even cordage—a valuable skill that can be applied to many other craft projects. As you work, you’ll connect with handwork methods and gain an appreciation for natural materials. By the end, you’ll have a sturdy, handmade tool ready for everyday use and the knowledge to explore other creative projects.
Bookings are non-refundable. If for any reason (this includes illness, travel delays and injuries) you need to cancel your workshop, you will receive a refund minus a $30 administration fee. This is provided you contact us at least 14 full days before your booking.
Please see our Cancellation Policy for more details.
