Mar 23, 10am-2pm
Make a cosy felt cover for your hot water bottle using traditional wet felting techniques, then dye it with locally gathered eucalyptus leaves to create a beautiful and colourful eco-printed design. These unique hottie covers are made from natural Aotearoa New Zealand merino wool and are durable and snuggly for cold winter nights. They also make great gifts!
Please note:
Please bring two towels and a bag for your towel and hottie cover as they may still be wet after the workshop.
Your hot water bottle (so you can try it on for size).
All other materials and tools will be provided.
The eco-printing process takes several hours, so you will need to pick up your finished hottie cover after the workshop. Pick up times are between 5-6pm on Saturday or 9am-5pm Sunday.
